If the member had enhanced protection and the pre A day PCLS was greater than £375,000 then the rules are different:

• the individual’s entitlement to PCLS is protected as a percentage of the benefit value at A-Day; and
• when benefits are taken, the individual will be entitled to the same percentage of the benefits value as it was at A-Day.
